Received email of Miami account termination / Student Account

Problem

  • Why did I receive notice that my Miami account had been terminated?
  • I received a notice of account termination — I don't think this is right

Scope

  • There is a known error causing students to receive a notice of termination of Miami accounts after they have left a student job on campus. No actual termination of the accounts is taking place. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is working to resolve this issue. A list of currently known issues can be found at https://www.miamioh.edu/iamissues

Resolution 

  1. If you have recently left a student employment position but are still enrolled in classes, this message can be safely disregarded
  2. If you are concerned that your account may have been terminated in error for any other reason, contact One Stop at 513 529-0001
