Add license server / CodeMeter

Problem

• How do I add a license server in Wibu-Systems CodeMeter runtime?

Scope

• CodeMeter configuration for Bruker DIFFRAC.SUITE EVA software license

Resolution

1. Download CodeMeter User Runtime for Windows and install
2. Launch CodeMeter from Windows Start Menu
3. Choose WebAdmin
4. Choose Configuration tab
5. Choose Basic->Server Search List
6. Add new server
   • License server 10.34.238.12
7. Continuing under the Configuration tab
8. Choose Server->Server Access->Network Server
   • Enable network server

Notes

• Server IP address is static belonging to office computer in SHD
  • 19 seats Diffrac.EVA
  • 9 seats Diffrac.Topas
• GLG departmental use only
• VPN required for off-campus access to license server
