Issue/Question

  • How do I sign into an Adobe app in a classroom or shared space?

Environment

  • Miami classrooms and teaching labs with installed Adobe Software such as the Creative Cloud applications

Cause/Rationale

  • The Adobe Shared Device licensing model requires authentication before use

Resolution 

  1. Launch an Adobe Application that is part of the Creative Cloud suite, such as Photoshop
  2. When prompted to sign in, click the Sign in with an Enterprise ID hyperlink
  3. Enter your Miami email address in the following format: <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu
    • If prompted, click the option Enterprise ID as needed
  4. When redirected to sign in, use your full Miami email address, <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu, as your ID
    • If given the option, select Work or school account
  5. The application should finish launching and be available for use
