ClassTech / Classroom monitor is blank

Issue

  • The classroom monitor is not showing any picture
  • The classroom monitor is blank

Environment

  • Classroom Technology
  • Classroom Computer

Resolution

  1. Make sure that the cables going to the monitor are secure
  2. Check to see if any input cables are unplugged from the monitor
  3. Power-cycle the teacher station
    • Unplug the main power cable, leave it unplugged for 10 seconds, and then plug it back in 
  4. If you continue to experience this issue, contact IT Help by phone at 513-529-7900 or by live chat at MiamiOH.edu/ITChat for assistance
  5. Provide the following information:
    • Classroom location, including building name and room number
    • Nature of the issue
