Miami University Communications and Marketing (UCM) owns a life-sized Beveled-M (L 78” x W 24” x H 70”) that can be reserved by Miami divisions and departments for university-sanctioned on or off-campus events. It is required that the Beveled-M is transported in its crate (L 88” x W 36” x H 81”). UCM will coordinate all of the logistics for the move of the Beveled-M, and all the expenses for the move are the requester's responsibility. UCM will inventory the Beveled-M before and after the event. If anything is lost or damaged while the Beveled-M is transported or used by the requester, the requester is responsible for all costs associated with fixing or replacing the Beveled-M. These costs will be charged to the provided account information. Requests must be received at least 30 business days before the event. UCM will respond to your request within five business days.
Due to the time needed to coordinate transportation of the Beveled-M for events, UCM has the capacity to book a maximum of 4 requests each month. Below is an overview of how many spots are currently available:

Off-Campus Events
The Beveled-M cannot be used at off-campus events due to the high cost of transportation. As an alternative, you can work with Alpha Lit Cincinnati to reserve a Beveled-M marquee sign for your off-campus events. This marquee sign has been approved for use by Miami's brand team. The Beveled-M can be rented alone. It is not required that you rent other marquee letters. Below is Alpha Lit’s contact information; you will need to submit a request for a quote on their website. They typically process all quote requests within 24 hours.
