Objective

  • To provide instruction on forwarding a suspicious email to IT Services Security team when you want to report:
    • An obvious phishing email 
    • A suspicious email from a trusted source — examples: President Crawford, One Stop 

Environment

  • Security
    • Phishing, Spam & Compromised Accounts
    • Miami Email

Resolution

  1. Forward the suspicious email to our IT Services Security team at InfoSec@MiamiOH.edu
  2. Do not click on or follow any links in the email
