Affected User / Action Miami University staff, faculty, or student who received an error while searching for courses in Course List
Cause Your search criteria are too broad or not well-defined
Applied Resolution
  1. Return to the Course List search page 
  2. Use the drop-down menus to select specific criteria for CampusSubject, and Attributes fields — avoid using Select All
  3. Run your search again

Affected User / Action Miami University staff, faculty, or student who received an error while searching for a specific course (apps.MiamiOH.edu/CourseList)
Cause Term information in the database is incorrect for the specific course
Applied Resolution
  • If you were searching for a specific course, contact One Stop at 513-529-0001 to report the course that is causing the error
  • If you were not searching for a specific course, contact IT Help by phone at 513-529-7900 or by live chat at MiamiOH.edu/ITChat to report the error
    • Provide the search terms you used

I do not see the Submit Registration Override Request option for a participating course
Affected User / Action Miami University staff, faculty, or student who is unable to locate the link for submitting a Registration Override Request in Course List
Cause The Registration Override Request (ROR) functionality is used by students to submit a request to be forcefully added into a course section when they cannot enroll themselves via BannerWeb; also used by faculty and staff to approve requests for forced registrations
Applied Resolution Contact One Stop at 513-529-0001 for further assistance
