Canvas / Delete a manually created section

Issue

  • I want to delete a manually created section in Canvas
  • When I send students mail in Canvas, I see a section twice

Environment

  • 10185: Canvas

Resolution 

  • If course is cross-listed, do not delete a section
  • If the section was manually created, use the following steps:
  1. In the course's menu bar, click on Settings
  2. Click on the Tab labeled Sections
  3. Click on the X next to the section to delete it
