Google Calendar / Manage display of invitations on a calendar

Objective

  • To provide instruction on managing the display of invitations on your Google Calendar when:
    • You want invitations to show automatically
    • You want to stop automatic display of invitations on your schedule

Environment

  • 10257: Google Calendar 
  • G Suite

Resolution

  1. Go to your Google Calendar
  2. Click the gear icon and choose Settings
  3. Click on Events from Gmail from the left navigation menu
  4. Manage the display of invitations on your calendar:
    • Click the checkbox for Automatically add events from Gmail to my calendar to automatically display invitations on your calendar
    • Clear the checkbox for Automatically add events from Gmail to my calendar to stop the automatic display of invitations on your calendar
  5. Click Ok to confirm this action
