Minitab / Sign in to application

Objective

  • To provide instruction on signing in to Minitab in a classroom or shared space
  • To provide instruction on signing in to Minitab on a Miami-provided computer

User

  • Current students, faculty, or staff with a provisioned license
    • Miami classrooms and teaching labs with installed Minitab
    • Miami provided computer with installed Minitab
    • Minitab Web App

Environment

  • 984777: Minitab
    • Version 20 or greater

Rationale

  • Minitab is a User Named licensing model requiring authentication/authorization before use

Resolution 

  1. Launch the Minitab Application or Web App
  2. When prompted to sign in, enter your Miami email address in the following format: <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu
  3. Click Next
  4. If prompted. select Miami University SSO
  5. When prompted to sign in, enter your Miami email address in the following format: <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu
  6. Click Next
  7. When prompted to enter password, enter your MUnet password and click Sign in

  • Minitab requires a license assigned to the user accessing the application
  • Minitab is available as a Windows application or Web App
