Enable or disable notifications / Canvas

Problem

• How do I receive notifications for activities in my Canvas courses?

Resolution

• Notifications can be set in Canvas to send emails and/or push notifications for course activities such as assignment due dates, grading, feedback, Inbox messages, etc. You can set these notifications for your account and for individual courses:
  • Refer to the Canvas Guide to manage your notification settings in your Canvas account

    • See the Canvas Guide to set notification preferences in the Canvas app on your Android device
  • Your Miami University email account will always be the primary email in Canvas
