Miami Directory / Select Miami email alias as my primary email address

Objective

• Select Miami email alias to appear as primary email address in the Miami Directory

Environment

• 10697: Miami Directory
• 10232: Email Alias
• 908729: MU IAM Portal 

Resolution

1. Go to the Miami University Directory
2. Click the Login button to log in to the directory
3. Click My Entry
4. Scroll down to the Contact and Personal Information box
5. Click the Edit Contact and Personal Information button at the bottom of the box
6. In the edit window, scroll down to the Email Aliases section
7. Select the radio button next to the e-mail address you prefer to display
8. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen
9. Click Submit
   • The change will process overnight
