Objective

• To provide suggestions on securing your information and reporting your Mac computer when:
  • You have lost your Mac
  • You are traveling overseas on a study-abroad, and your laptop has been stolen

Resolution

• Change your MUnet password immediately
  • Change your current, unexpired password
  • Reset your forgotten or expired password using recovery option
  • Submit a request to reset your forgotten or expired password — no recovery option
  • Visit your campus assistance location
• Report your lost or stolen Mac to local law enforcement
