Access Miami email account as retiree or emeriti / Lifetime Email

Problem
- How do I access my Miami Lifetime email account?
- I am retired and unable to access my Miami email account
- I am an emeritus or emerita and unable to access my email account
Resolution
- If you do not know your MUnet password, go to Miami’s MUnet Password Utilities (RI) tool
- Follow the prompts to change your password
- Go to Miami's email page
- Enter your UniqueID and MUnet password to log in to your Lifetime email account
- If you are unable to log in, contact SOMR and/or SOME to verify that you were properly inducted using the Society's website
- If you were inducted and cannot access to your Lifetime email account, contact IT Help by phone at 513-529-7900 or by live chat at MiamiOH.edu/ITChat for assistance
Notes
- University employees who formally retire under OPERS, STRS, or ARP are automatically inducted into the Society of Miami Retirees (SOMR) and/or the Society of Miami Emeriti (SOME) upon retirement. Only individuals who formally retire from Miami University under OPERS, STRS, or an ARP will continue to have use of their email account
- It can take up to 60 days after your retirement date to update your account
- Miami email is powered by Google
- Google provides up-to-date end-user instructions and support documentation for Google's Gmail web app
