Resolve assignment submission timeouts when submitting a Google Docs file / Canvas

Problem

• How do I submit a Google doc to a Canvas assignment when the submission times out?

Cause

• Google Chrome updates and plug-ins can sometimes cause problems with submitting Google doc assignments

Resolution

• Use Google Chrome incognito window for Canvas submissions
  • Click on the top right three horizontal dots and select New incognito window
• Or use a web browser other than Google Chrome
