Summary

Miami UIT does not recommend or support the use of third-party email clients

To provide information to a user who wants to retrieve Miami email (Gmail) messages in another email client

Miami University IT Services recommends using the Gmail web service in your browser to check your Miami email
Refer to Google Gmail Help documentation, if you choose to use an alternative mail client: Use IMAP to check Gmail on other mail clients - Gmail Help

Miami University IT Services does not fully support the use of any third party apps. Using third party apps may increase errors and reduce functionality, alert notifications, and email retrieval speed
