Problem

• How do I find the default password for my courtesy account?
• What is the default password for my courtesy account?

Resolution

• The default password for your courtesy account is your two-digit month of birth, two-digit day of birth, and the last four digits of your Banner+ number
  • Note: If you have previously provided Miami with your Social Security number, your default password may use the last four digits of your SSN rather than your Banner+ number
  • If you only have a courtesy account type and believe your date of birth to be wrong, contact the person who requested your account for the date of birth used for account creation 
• If you don't know your Banner+ number, contact the person who requested your account
• If you're the requester and you don't know the Banner+ number on the account you requested, log in to Miami's courtesy account management page, click your request, click the name of the person for whom you requested an account, and scroll down to see their Banner+ number
