Workday Mobile App / Install and set up on an iOS or Android mobile device

Objective

• To provide instruction on downloading and logging in to the Workday mobile app

• Connect to the Miami University organization on the Workday mobile app

• Apple iOS 17 or later

Procedure

• To log in to Miami's Organization in the Workday app:
  1. Download the Workday app
     • Google Playstore for Android 12 and up
     • App Store for Apple iOS 17 or later 
  2. Open the app
  3. Tap Login
  4. Enter miamioh in the Organization ID field
  5. Tap the arrow
  6. Log in with your Miami UniqueID and MUnet password
  7. Approve the DUO prompt
  8. Once it loads, tap the box next to Remember this Device
  9. Tap Submit
  • Notes:
    • You may have to create a six-digit PIN
    • You should be able to enable biometrics for the Workday Mobile Application on your mobile device
    • If you are unable to connect using the typed in value of miamioh for the Organization ID, you can log into Workday, and in your Profile section,  you'll have the option "View Organization ID" - this gives a QR code that you can scan on your mobile device to connect

Notes

• Required operating systems are Android 12 and up, and Apple iOS 17 or later as of the publication date of this article.  Workday deprecates support for older versions of Android and Apple on a periodic basis. 
  • If your device is not up-to-date or cannot be updated:
    1. Open a browser on your mobile device and type the URL miamioh.edu/workday
    2. Log in and then save the site to your home screen
