Connecting your PC to Wireless

Introduction

Before using MU-WIRELESS, you will need to configure your Windows device to connect to the network. This can be accomplished with an automated tool provided by Miami or manually yourself. Instructions for both are provided below.

Note: For best results, please forget/delete MU-GAMING and MU-GUEST from your "remembered" networks. This will ensure that your device will stay connected to MU-WIRELESS while on campus.

Detail: Using the Automated Configuration Tool

  1. Click the green Download and Configure button on this page
  2. Double-click the downloaded file to launch the tool
  3. If a security warning appears, click Run
  • The tool will work in the background and will prompt you for any needed actions.
  • When configuration is complete, the message "Complete!" will appear.
