Install LabView 64-bit on Windows

Introduction

LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment used by millions of engineers and scientists to develop sophisticated measurement, test, and control systems using intuitive graphical icons and wires that resemble a flowchart. It offers unrivaled integration with thousands of hardware devices and provides hundreds of built-in libraries for advanced analysis and data visualization – all for creating virtual instrumentation. The LabVIEW platform is scalable across multiple targets and OSs, and, since its introduction in 1986, it has become an industry leader.

Students may download this 64-bit version of LabVIEW to install on their personally owned computers.

Details

  1. Click the green Download and Install button on this page.
  2. Enter your Miami UniqueID and MUNet password when prompted to begin the download.
  3. Connect to MUVPN if off campus. If on campus, VPN connection is not required.
  4. Click the download file to run the installer. The installer will extract to a temporary folder.
  5. An installation in progress window will open and silently run the installer. The window will automatically close when the installer is finished.
  6. NI LabVIEW will be listed on your Start menu.

Notes

This software must be installed and run while on the Miami network or connected to the  Miami VPN.
