Environment

Review subscribers via email

  • If the list owner has allowed this option, you can determine who is subscribed to a LISTSERV list by sending a review listname command to any list
  1. Open your email application and create a new message
    • If you use a signature, delete it
  2. The FROM address must be the email address specified as a subscriber of the list
  3. In the TO field, enter LISTSERV@listserv.MiamiOH.edu
  4. Leave the Subject field blank
  5. In the main message body, enter review listname
    • listname is the 32-character-or-less name of the list
  6. Send the message
  7. If the list owner allows this option, LISTSERV will return a copy of the list header and a list of all the subscribers: The list header contains the title of the list, various configuration parameters, and a short description of what the list is about
    • If the list owner does not allow this option, you will receive an email to that effect
