Rationale

• Sometimes you (as the instructor) may choose to reopen a quiz for a student who missed a due date for a valid reason

Resolution 

There are different ways to reopen a quiz:

1. This Canvas Guide article gives instructions on how to assign a quiz to an individual student 
2. And this Canvas Guide tells you how to moderate a quiz for individual students by adding time or attempts
3. If is unlocked for the student but the student claims they still do not have access, ask the student to clear their browser cache, log in again, and attempt to access the quiz
