LISTSERV / Deactivate auto-delete setting

Objective

  • To provide instruction on deactivating the Auto-Delete setting in your list configuration when:
    • Users are being automatically deleted from a LISTSERV list
    • The setting in the list configuration that controls auto-deletion has been activated

Environment

  • 10283: LISTSERV

Resolution

  1. Open the LISTSERV management console
  2. Log in using the email address with which you are subscribed to the list and your LISTSERV password
    • The LISTSERV password is NOT your MUnet password
  3. From the List Management Dashboard, click on the list you want to modify.
  4. Click on List Configuration from the left-hand menu.
  5. Click the Error Handling button.
  6. In the Auto-Delete drop-down box select No. 
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Update button to save your changes.
  8. Click the My Configuration button and review the Auto-Delete= line for accuracy.
