Account error received when accessing myMiami

Issue/Question

  • I receive an error message, Account does not exist, when I try to log in to myMiami
  • Error message: You have successfully authenticated to the Central Authentication Service, but your account is missing in the myMiami portal

Environment

  • myMiami

Cause

  • There is sometimes a slight delay in the creation of your myMiami account when your new Miami University account is created

Resolution

  • This issue is generally resolved by waiting a few hours and trying to log in again
