Canvas / View courses from the current term

Objective

• To provide instruction on viewing your current Canvas courses when:
  • Your courses do not appear on your Canvas home page
  • You cannot see a Canvas course on your dashboard
  • Your course appears in myMiami and Banner, but not in Canvas

Environment

• 10185: Canvas

Cause

• Your course was not marked as a favorite in All Courses

Resolution

1. Go to Miami's Canvas site 
2. Click Courses
3. Click All Courses to see current and past courses
4. Click the star next to all courses you want to appear on your dashboard

Note: You may need to repeat this process each semester for any course that you are added to outside of the Banner process
