Parent account access issues

Issue/Question

  • I am not able to log in to my parent account to pay the bill
  • I would like to make a payment on my student's account, but my parent password is not working
  • I cannot access the site to pay the tuition bill
  • I let my password setup link expire

Environment

  • Parent/Family Account
  • myMiami for Families

Resolution

  1. Your UniqueID is your email address
  2. Your password is the password you created when you received your confirmation email
  3. If you still cannot access the site, visit One Stop for other secure online payment options 
    • Or contact the Student Affairs office for Parent and Family Programs at 513 529-3436

 

Notes to parents

  • Your student can share access to their personal and billing records when they follow this link to create a parent account
  • Your student is the only person who can re-set the password on their student account 
  • The orientation checklist is only available on your student's myMiami page — ask your student to check for items that need to be addressed

Can you resolve this issue yourself?
Can the end-user resolve the issue using the instructions given? Or does the end-user need to submit a request for assistance from Miami UIT, a Client Office, or a Vendor?
