What about new documents?
Beginning April 2027, only UCM website admins will be able to upload documents to Cascade. If you need a PDF added to any Miami website, it must be fully remediated before posting. Submit requests for UCM to upload documents to your website. Documents submitted without remediation will delay completion of the ticket or request. If you remediated your document in Prep, include the Prep report in the request form.
Monthly audits will be conducted to check for document accessibility. If links to inaccessible documents are found, UCM will notify the department. UCM may remove those links until the documents are remediated if no response is provided.
Where to get help?
The AccessMU Center will continue spring drop-in sessions through May 1 and will offer virtual drop-in sessions beginning May 19. For in-person support over the summer, please contact AccessMU@MiamiOH.edu to schedule a visit.
