Purpose and Scope
To formalize a Departmental policy regarding the use of equipment and facilities for personal benefit.
Policy
To preserve and protect the University’s facilities and equipment, avoid tax consequences and liability, employees are not permitted to borrow equipment or use University facilities or property for personal use.
University employees may not remove University equipment or property, or convert for personal use, any items belonging to the University. This includes items discarded, placed in dumpsters and/or materials discarded at the site of new construction or remodeling projects.
