What is our commitment?

  • Loaner computers1 are available only for students with Miami Notebooks2. We now accept cash, credit, payroll deduction, as well as MUlaa
  • Repair turnaround times average 3-5 business days,3 although turn-around time can vary depending on time of the semester. Particularly busy times are the beginning or end of a semester as well as immediately prior to and following holiday weekends/breaks

1Availability of a loaner computer is not guaranteed. In rare instances, loaner demand may exceed the supply. To help avoid this situation, please consider having your laptop serviced at the time that the problem occurs; do not wait until the beginning or end of the semester, as this introduces a longer wait for repairs and, in some cases, a loaner may not be readily available.

2Please see MiamiOH.edu/MiamiNotebook for more information

3Dependent upon availability of parts and volume of repair activity; does not include weekends

4We make no guarantees that damaged, corrupted, or infected data is recoverable

*Warranty repair services are offered for Apple, Dell, and HP

*Out-of-warranty repair service is performed on a best-effort basis. A $50 service charge is applied to a designated departmental account per incident in addition to any materials or shipping costs
