Introduction
Each academic year, Miami receives either a new version of SAS or license files to renew existing installations on your personally-owned computer (not owned by the university.)
Details
- Click the Download and Install button on this page.
- Enter your Miami credentials when prompted, to begin the download. The zipped file will be saved to your Downloads folder. Do not power off, put to sleep or disconnect from the network until the download completes.
- Locate the zipped file that was downloaded, right mouse click on the file and choose Extract all from the short-cut menu.
- Note the folder location where the files will be extracted, and then click the Extract button.
- Launch the Renew SAS Utility from your Start menu (Start --> SAS --> Renew SAS Software 9.4).
- Select Browse and then navigate to the folder location you noted in step four.
- Select the appropriate renew file for your version of Windows.
