Adobe Creative Cloud / Sign in to applications

Objective

• To provide instruction on signing in to an Adobe app in a classroom or shared space
• To provide instruction on signing in to an Adobe app on a Miami-provided computer

User

• Miami classrooms and teaching labs with installed Adobe Software such as the Creative Cloud applications
• Miami provided computers with installed Adobe Software such as the Creative Cloud applications

Environment

• 197283: Adobe Creative Cloud
  • University-owned computers / subscriptions
    • Shared Device License
    • User Named License

Rationale

• The Adobe Shared Device licensing model requires authentication before use
• The Adobe User Named licensing model required authentication before use

Resolution 

1. Launch the Adobe Creative Cloud Application
2. When prompted to sign in, enter your Miami email address in the following format: <UniqueID>@MiamiOH.edu, click Continue
   • If prompted to Select an Account, click the option Company or School Account
3. When redirected to sign in, enter your Miami password, the same password used to log into My Miami and click Sign In
4. Launch the Adobe application you wish to use (Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Audition, InDesign etc...)
