Procedure: OVA/OVF / Provision appliance with ClusterT vCenter

Objective

• To provide instruction for provisioning OVA appliance with ClusterT vCenter

Scope

• ClusterT is a test environment for Enterprise Operations
  • All VMs provisioned here are subject to being powered off and/or deleted without notice
  • Do not plan long-term test in this environment
• Owner of test appliances/VMs should review the usage of the appliances/VMs periodically, no less than once per semester

  • vCenter: https://vcentertest.itapps.miamioh.edu
• 111235: muavvctd01.mcs.miamioh.edu

Procedure

1. Log in to vSphere HTML5 client  at https://vcentertest.itapps.miamioh.edu with IT account UniqueID
2. From the drop-down menu, choose Shortcuts, then Hosts and Clusters, and select the following in the order given:
   • muavvctd01.mcs.miamioh.edu
   • HoytTest
   • Right-click on ClusterT​​​​​​ and choose Deploy OVF Template
3. Follow instruction until it is finished
