Problem
- Why was a student's second submission attempt marked late in the Canvas Gradebook?

Resolution
- Any submissions or attempts recorded after the due date are considered late. This includes resubmissions or subsequent attempts made after the due date, even if the initial submission or attempt was made before the due date. If you have a Late Submission Policy set in the Gradebook, you can remove the late penalty for each student by changing the submission status (back to None):
- To remove the late penalty for all students on an assignment, consider rescheduling the assignment's due date. To ensure no more submissions after the adjusted due date, you can set the assignment's availability date to match the due date (i.e., the due date and the "available until" date are the same):
