Google Drive / Drive for Desktop

Objective

• To provide direction in downloading and installing Google Drive Desktop on your University-owned or personally owned device when:
  • You want to access your Drive work files and sync them on your devices

Environment

• 10259: Google Drive
  • Google Drive for Desktop
• Windows
• macOS

Resolution

• If you use a Google account through work or school, you may need to use Google's Drive for Desktop 
  • This Google Support article will tell you how to download, install, and use Drive for Desktop for work or school files
• If your Google account was set up by an administrator (example, PublicJQ@MiamiOH.edu) at MiamiOH.edu and you are unable to use Drive for Desktop, ask your Miami administrator for assistance
