Resolution

• Make sure you are using a recommended browser
  • For the best experience, we recommend you use the Google Chrome browser. Proctorio is also compatible with Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Brave
• Open the browser you plan to use to take your test and download the Proctorio Extension 
• Use a wired high-speed Internet connection, if available (strongly recommended)
• Clear cookies and cache, update the browser if it is not automatically updated, and reboot the computer (this clears memory)
• Make sure that your webcam, microphone, and speaker are functioning properly
  • Only built-in or external webcam, microphone, and speaker are acceptable
    • Virtual webcam, microphone, and speaker are not acceptable
• Have a photo ID at-hand
  • Your Miami ID or your driver’s license
• Adjust room lighting to ensure your face is not in a shadow
• Wear appropriate attire/clothing
  • Do not wear a hat or sunglasses
