Microsoft Word / Recover an unsaved document

Objective

• To provide instruction on recovering an unsaved Word document

Environment

• 10314: Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Office
  • Word 

Resolution 

1. Open a new (blank) Word file
2. Select the File tab from the menu bar
3. Click on Info
4. Click the Manage Document button
5. Click Recover Unsaved Documents 
6. Select and open file to restore data
