Canvas / Gradebook attendance scores are incorrect

Issue

• In the Gradebook for a Canvas course, the attendance score is reporting as a perfect 100%, even though some students have missed days that were reported as such with the Attendance tool

Cause

• This issue can also occur when faculty change the settings for attendance

Resolution

• Review this Canvas Guide to learn how to edit the Roll Call Attendance assignment
• In the Gradebook, manually edit the attendance score for each student to reflect the actual desired percentage
