Microsoft 365 / Manage your activation limit

Objective

• To provide instruction on managing your Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) activation limit

Environment

• Software & Apps
• 10314: Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Office

Cause

• You are limited in the number of device activations that you can link to your Microsoft 365  license

Resolution

1. Log in to Microsoft 365
   • Use your Miami email address as your username and your MUnet password as your password
2. Select View Apps & Devices
3. Expand Devices
4. Next to the listing for the computer from which you want to remove Office, click Sign out
5. Click Sign out to confirm the deactivation
