Quiz is not yet available / Canvas

Problem

• A student tried to take a quiz in Canvas, but the Start the Quiz button was not visible
• All quizzes are unavailable
• I would like to let my students start their Canvas course prior to start of term and be able to take quizzes

Cause

• Your student is attempting to take a quiz before the first day of class

Resolution

• Graded work should not be required prior to the first day of term
• Publish the quiz
• If the quiz is in a module that is not published, then publish the module and the quiz

Notes

• Miami Online offers Canvas training
