Body

Objective

Environment

  • Student Account
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Orientation

Resolution

  1. Go to Miami's Orientation Process page and select the First-Year Students or Transfer Students button
  2. If you don't know your UniqueID, use the UniqueID Lookup tool
  3. The default password for your account is your two-digit month of birth, two-digit day of birth, and the last four digits of your Social Security (MMDDSSSS) or Banner+ ID number (MMDDBBBB)
    • example: Your birth day is January 1, and your Social Security number is 555-55-5555, so your default password would be 01015555
    • example: Your birth day is April 1, and your Banner+ ID is +00123456, so your default password would be 04013456
  4. If you cannot log in with the default password, you, as an incoming student, can reset your password with a non-Miami email address
