Problem
- How is a student added to a Canvas course once they're registered?
- How can a student get back into a Canvas course if they lose access?
Resolution
- The student should contact the One Stop to confirm they are enrolled in the course and have no holds on their account preventing access
- The instructor should verify that the student is registered for the course by checking the Photo Roster for the course in myMiami. See the KB article: Photo Roster / Access a course roster for more information
- If a student has successfully registered, they should be added to the course in Canvas via an SIS update within 24 hours. If not, please submit a Canvas Solutions request. Do not manually add students to rostered courses in Canvas
