Miami University IT Services does not provide or install batteries in Roku remotes
If a remote is requested for a resident hall, please contact the applicable Resident Director for assistance
This Roku support article will tell you what to do when you have problems with your remote
After replacing a remote or replacing remote batteries, remotes must be paired with the Roku device
Locate a small black button near the batteries
Press the button until it lights up and release
Test the remote, the remote should now be paired with the Roku
It may not be necessary to access, remove, or unplug the Roku
