Objective

  • To provide instruction on using a control panel to power-down a projection system

Procedure

  1. If you used the resident PC, log off or restart—do not shut down
  2. If you used Picture Mute on the control panel, turn it off to prevent issues for other users

  3. Locate and press the POWER button on the control panel
  4. Confirm Power Off by pressing YES
  5. The projection system will begin a cool-down cycle—the projector should now be off
    • Warning: If the projector is still on during the cool-down cycle, this indicates a problem with the system
  6. Be sure to take any removable media (USB flash drive, CD, DVD, or Blu-ray discs, etc.) with you

 

Notes

  • Always power-down the projection system when you are finished using the equipment

  • If you need immediate help, locate the phone in the room and dial 9-7900, then press 9
