Turnitin / Enable on a Canvas assignment (Instructor)

Objective

• To provide instruction on activating Turnitin in a Canvas assignment

Scope

• Turnitin must be enabled before students make submissions to an assignment

User

• Canvas Instructor

Environment

• 1439390: Turnitin
• 10185: Canvas

Resolution

1. Log in to Canvas
2. Select your course
3. Select Assignments
4. Select Edit on the desired assignment
5. Under Plagiarism Review select Turnitin from the drop-down list
   • Turnitin will be the only option, since Miami University is only using Turnitin through Canvas
6. Select Save
