Microsoft Office / Install on your University computer

Objective

• To provide instruction on installing Microsoft Office on your University computer

Environment

• Software for University-owned Computers
• 10188: Jamf Pro (Casper) Suite
• 10314: Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Office
• 10293: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Software Center
• macOS
• Windows

Resolution

On macOS

• You must be on campus to complete this installation

1. Open the Self Service application on your Mac
   • Press command-key+space-bar on your keyboard
   • Enter Self Service in the Spotlight Search field
   • Follow this link to enroll and install Self Service, if your University-owned computer does not have it currently installed
2. Click Microsoft Office to install
   • The software will begin installing automatically

On Windows

• You must be on campus to complete this installation

1. Click the Windows button
2. Search for Software Center
3. Locate and open Software Center
4. From the available software, select Office
5. Click the Install button
