Wired Network / Connection issues on my Xbox One

Objective

• To provide instruction on resolving an unstable Xbox One Ethernet connection

Environment

• 9583: Access Network 
  • Wired Network
  • Miami Network
• Xbox One

Resolution

1. Check to make sure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the Xbox and the Ethernet port
2. Verify that the Ethernet cable is able to maintain a stable connection by testing it on your computer 
   • If it is not able to maintain a stable connection on your computer, the Ethernet cable may be faulty
3. Follow this link to run a network connection test on the Xbox
4. Follow any instructions provided by the results of your network connection test

   • Your location, including building name and room number
   • Xbox MAC address
   • Data jack/port ID number
