Press
command
+
space bar
on your keyboard
Enter
Keychain Access
in the Spotlight Search bar and press the
enter/return
key to open
Keychain Access
From the list of keychains on the left side of the window, select
login
From the
Edit
menu, choose
Change Password for Keychain "login"
Enter your old password (the one you used to log into your Mac before resetting your password) of your user account, and then click
OK
If you entered the correct password, a new window will appear
In the
Enter a new password for the keychain "login"
window, enter your old password in the
Current Password
field
In the
New Password
field, enter your new (current) password
Re-enter your new (current) password in the
Verify
field
Click
OK
