Notice of Intent to Decommission: Filelocker

To inform the Miami University community of the sunsetting date of the Filelocker service

Filelocker is on an end-of-life operating system and is being decommissioned in favor of a more secure service
Filelocker and its replacement, SecureFileShare, will run in tandem until the end of the Spring 2026 semester
Filelocker will officially be decommissioned on May 20, 2026

Miami users should now use SecureFileShare to securely share and receive large files
