Canvas, McGraw Hill Connect / 1.1 to 1.3 transition instructions

Objective
To provide instruction on transitioning from McGraw Hill Connect (1.1) to McGraw Hill Integration (1.3)
If your online course uses McGraw Hill Connect or McGraw Hill Go, the integration has been updated in Canvas and
users must migrate their courses to McGraw Hill Integration (1.3) before the start of Fall Term 2026

Instructions
Select
McGraw Hill Connect
from the Course Navigation menu
Verify if the course is already paired with McGraw Hill Connect
If paired, select
Reset section pairing
If not, move on to the next step
Select
Settings
from the Course Navigation menu
Select the
Navigation
tab and locate
McGraw Hill Connect
Select the three dot menu to the right, select
Disable
, and then select
Save
at the bottom of the page
Select
Modules
from the Course Navigation menu
Select any module’s three dot menu and select
McGraw Hill Integration
Select
Connect
or
Go
Select
Pair with a Connect Section
(or
Go
section)
Select
Pair with existing Connect course
Select the correct existing course
Select
Back to Canvas
Select
Relink Assignments
Wait a minute or two for information to load under the four categories in
Relink Assignments
, once you see the old Connect assignments
Select
Relink
and
Update
, then
OK
Double-check your assignments in
Modules
