• The One Stop assists Miami students, authorized family members, alumni, and faculty/staff with billing and payment, enrollment, financial aid, registration, and student records

Procedure

• Follow these One Stop links to learn more about various topics pertaining to VA Education Benefits at Miami:
  • Veterans Benefits Checklist and FAQs
    • This page includes important steps, deadlines, and answers to frequently asked questions. Info includes: 
      • VA payment schedule
      • Standards for receiving education benefits 
      • Enrollment requirements 
      • Priority registration
    • While most tasks on the checklist only need to be completed during the application process, students must submit the VA Education Benefits Request Form every semester if using the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33), the Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30 or 1606), Vocational Rehabilitation (Chapter 31), Dependents Educational Assistance (Chapter 35), or Reserve Educational Assistance (Chapter 1607)
  • Residency for Military Members
    • Learn how military members, veterans, and qualified dependents can qualify to be classified as in-state students for tuition purposes
  • Qualified Dependents
    • Learn about dependency relationships, as defined by current IRS regulations, and how to transfer education benefits
